Parks Pat Mysteries: Three New Thrilling Adventures to Solve

It is release day for the next three Parks Pat Mysteries:

The day has finally arrived! The highly anticipated release of the next three Parks Pat Mysteries has arrived, and readers are in for a treat. Margie Patenaude, Christina, and Moushoom have captured the hearts of readers. (And I haven’t forgotten Stella.)

Knows the Hills

Death by Coyote?

An accidental death like the one in Nose Hill Park is always tragic, but what can a homicide detective be expected to do about it?

Detective Margie “Parks Pat” Patenaude is called to the gruesome scene, and despite what she can see with her own eyes, does not believe that this is an open-and-shut case of the victim being in the wrong place at the wrong time.

The more questions Margie asks, the stranger the case seems. What started off as a tragic accident turns out to be something much more.

Sometimes, a cop just has to follow her instinct.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ There are vivid and scenic descriptions of the park where the crime has taken place along with a lot of nature, whether animals or plants. There are clues galore, some of which are unexpected due to the nature of the crime, and each is important

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Another amazing book that you don’t want to miss.

Spanning the Creek

A killer bridge?

Be careful what you wish for!

City Hall wanted the death of Samuel Keller to be anything but an accident. Confederation Park had seen too many tragedies lately and did not need another added to the tally.

But Detective “Parks Pat” Patenaude had not been expecting to find evidence of murder.

Sometimes an accident is just an accident.

But sometimes it’s not.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The story has a good flow and details and descriptions that help me visualize the area, the park, the people and the crime. Once again, her grandfather imparts his wisdom and we get to see their family dynamics. There are twists and turns to the story until the whodunnit is revealed. There is closure and the story is wrapped up nicely.

Sanctuary in the Stream

A dam violent scene

Detective “Parks Pat” Patenaude is called to an idyllic scene in the Inglewood Bird Sanctuary. The scene is marred only by the body of a man who apparently got in the way of beaver construction.

Nature can be cruel and beavers have been known to attack. This national symbol can be rabid and vicious.

Yet that does not appear to be the case this time, and Parks Pat is on the case, hoping to uncover the truth in this unexpected death.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I was thoroughly invested in this well-written police procedural involving relatable and believable characters, some of which seem like old friends at this point.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ There are many clues to sift through in the park and out of it and of course procedures to follow. There is closure with the solving of whodunnit once again as I was fully immersed in the story and tried to anticipate what would happen next.
