Ruby, Between the Cracks is still free at the Kindle store and other ebook retailers. I am getting excited about publishing book four in the Between the Cracks series in January. Chloe is a heart-wrenching story that will keep you on the edge of your seat.

Nanowrimo started today, so once this post is up, I am off to the races on my newest manuscript. Take a peek at what I’m doing!
Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme. Read the rules at Books and a Beat. Anyone can play along.
I read Paper in the Wind: Peeling back the lifespan of autism in the wake of tragedy by Olivia Mason-Charles a couple of weeks ago, but it has stuck with me, so I’ll post a teaser this week.
One Sunday morning, I was walking up the stairs when Alexa said, “Dada.” I damn near passed out. When I regained my senses, I grabbed her and ran down the stairs so fast. I was half way to the ice cream store before I realized that I was barefoot and in my pajamas. I did not care. My daughter had said, “Dada.” I was freaking out!
Paper in the Wind, Olivia Mason-Charles
Paper in the Wind is a compassionate and riveting story depicting a single father’s dedication to his daughter. In the midst of the overwhelming struggles that accompanied autism, he continues to persevere. Her father’s love enabled her to overcome insurmountable obstacles, discovered the power of love and embraced the gift of life.
Aaw, that’s such a sweet teaser:) And I could just see them!
My TT from Something Deadly
Saw this on TT, am going to order the book. TY!
I guess she must have been thrilled!
I helped look after and am now employed to teach an autistic boy, so I have an inkling of what a big deal this is. Many thanks for sharing such an emotional moment. My TT this week is an amazing fantasy – https://sjhigbee.wordpress.com/2016/11/01/teaser-tuesday-1st-november-2016/
