I am currently reading Alter Ego (#9 Jonathan Stride Series) by Brian Freeman. I’m not sure how many other Jonathan Stride books I have read, at least one other. A good police procedural that readers of Lee Child or James Patterson will enjoy. Good, well-rounded characters carry through the series and make for an enjoyable read.

I have read a few interesting books lately. Right now, I am on Occam’s Razor, (Joe Gunther Mysteries Book 10), by Archer Mayor. (Occam’s Razor, in case you are wondering, has sometimes been summarized as “When you hear hoofbeats, think horses, not zebras.”) It is a good solid police procedural, and I am enjoying it so far!

I’m reading one of Dan Brown’s Robert Langdon books at the moment. The Lost Symbol is all that you would expect from Dan Brown; brain teasers, actions, and edge of the seat action. I am currently reading Karin Slaughter’s Criminal, book 6 in the Will Trent series. I have not read any of the other books in the series, but haven’t had any problems with jumping in mid-series. While the series is named after Will Trent, the story has been more about his boss Amanda than about Will. I do want to hear more about Will and might have to check out some of the other books.
