Melissa Kay Benson was a dream to work with, and I really love her production of Virtually Harmless. Her voices are so close to the voices in my head, and she nails all of the sarcasm and humour, making me laugh at my own jokes.

I have just started After Anna by Lisa Scottoline. Scottoline writes some amazing plots. In this book, there are two point of views, Maggie’s, which is running forward in time from when she meets Anna and Noah’s, which is running backward in time from the point at which his verdict will be read. At some point they will intersect, and I will have the full story. Or almost. Maybe. Being able to tell two stories from two different viewpoints and reveal the plot points in just the right order is an amazing talent.

Why doesn’t she leave?
I’ve had some comments from readers of the Reg Rawlins Psychic Investigator series who express disgust or frustration with Reg for having anything to do with Corvin Hunter after becoming aware that he is a predator, and one who has repeatedly made promises that he hasn’t kept.
