I started with one book that I did not finish, went on to an audiobook that was produced like a radio play, and then a couple of other quickies, one a holiday (Christmas) special and the other: The Princess Bride. It's hard to believe that it has been sixteen years since Stephenie Meyer's Twilight hit the scene. On the other hand, it has been almost that long since I last read it, and there is a lot that I only have vague impressions of. When I saw Midnight Sun, a retelling of Twilight from Edward's perspective at my library, I thought "why not?" I think this is the first time I have read something from Connie Shelton's Samantha Sweet Mysteries. Bitter Sweet is book #5, but you will have no problem understanding who the players are or what is going on. It is a self-contained mystery like most of the cozy or traditional mysteries that you have read. ...
