You’re invited to join me for NorthWest Passages, an online reading event of The Writers Union of Canada, on Thursday, March 12, from 7-8 pm MDT.

The readers will be: 

Katherine Koller, Earthen StoriesKatherine writes for stage, screen and page. Her books are Voices of the Land (plays), Art Lessons (a novel), Winning Chance (stories), which won a High Plains Book Award, and a new collection of stories, Earthen. Her short fiction and non-fiction has appeared in a number of publications and anthologies. Katherine is a founding producer of Edmonton Script Salon and a recent member of the Citadel Theatre Playwrights’ Lab.

Carol Ann Parchewsky, With Love. Carol Ann Parchewsky is a writer based in Edmonton, Alberta who has published poetry, flash fiction, and short stories. Her writing has been shortlisted for The Bath Flash Fiction Award and The New Flash Fiction Prize. Carol has been President of the Writers’ Guild of Alberta. She teaches creative writing at the University of Calgary. 

Lynda Williams, The Beauty and the Hell of It. Lynda’s stories have appeared in GrainThe Humber Literary Review, and The New Quarterly, among others. She holds a graduate certificate in Creative Writing from the Humber School for Writers and is a recipient of the Lieutenant Governor of Alberta Emerging Artist Award. Her literary influences include, Raymond Carver, Pam Houston, and Lorrie Moore. 

P.D. Workman, He Broke the SilenceP.D. has written over a hundred addictive page-turners featuring diverse and divergent sleuths, high-stakes investigations, and stories that linger long after the last page. Her books dive deep into characters’ minds while exploring timely social issues through fast-paced, emotionally charged plots.
