Reg Rawlins was a con. She did not even believe in psychics when she took on the role in Black Sands. But unexplained visions, magical neighbours, and a cat with unsettling opinions make it harder and harder to dismiss everything she sees as a trick.
This paranormal cozy mystery series follows Reg as she becomes an unlikely psychic investigator. With help from a handsome warlock, a psychic cat, and a growing circle of magical friends, she takes on disappearances, thefts, curses, hidden histories, and crimes that may have perfectly ordinary explanations—or may not.
The Reg Rawlins mysteries blend small-town suspense, humour, found family, witches, fairies, elves, and supernatural puzzles. Reg’s instincts for deception serve her well, but every case pushes her deeper into a magical world where nothing is quite what it seems.
Start with What the Cat Knew and fall under Reg’s spell. The series spins off from Auntie Clem’s Bakery, and readers can follow both using the Auntie Clem’s Bakery and Reg Rawlins chronology.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ It sounds like a fairly gentle story, but there is a lot of suspense involved. Add a bunch of humor to the mix and you are in for a treat … This is a story that you don’t want to put down.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This book has all my favourite things: heart, great writing, nearly-flawless editing, something unusual in the air, and a cat.
