Medical Kidnap Files
The Medical Kidnap Files are young adult medical thrillers about children separated from their families after disputes over their diagnoses and care. Beginning with Mito, the series follows families caught between medicine, child protection, and a system with the power to decide who will be believed.
Gabriel and Renata create an underground organization of determined teenagers who refuse to stand by while vulnerable children disappear into foster care and institutional control. Their search for answers draws them into secret records, disputed medical evidence, dangerous rescues, and conflicts where the people claiming to protect a child may also have the most to hide.
These suspenseful novels combine foster-care fiction, medical mystery, family separation, and teen resistance. At their centre is a difficult question: when care becomes control, who is brave enough to challenge the system?
Start with Mito and follow Gabriel, Renata, and their allies as each new case exposes another part of the Medical Kidnap Files.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The plot was FANTASTIC. I’ve read a lot of stories about foster children, but never anything quite like what happens in Mito. I never even realized that medical kidnap could very well be a thing happening “behind the scenes” in foster care, but after reading this book my mind is blown. I just. Wow. I don’t want to go into a whole lot of detail so I think I might stop this review here, but, gah. I can’t even form words I’m so freaking mind blown.
This book was amazing!!
