Author Notes may contain spoilers!

When I first came up with the premise for They Sought Vengeance, I was immediately captivated by the idea of a family divided by suspicion and the possibility that one of them harbored a deadly secret. The concept of four siblings, each with their own motives to potentially kill their father was an intriguing premise.

I enjoyed exploring the resentments, hidden secrets, and simmering tensions that can arise within a family, especially when faced with a tragedy like the death of a parent.

I didn’t need to do a lot of research on this one, but it did take some work to weave the various threads of the story together and to figure out what had happened. This was one of those stories where I didn’t know ahead of time which suspect would end up being the killer and why!

As with any mystery novel, I encourage readers to immerse themselves in the story, to analyze the clues, and to form their own theories. I am interested to see if readers can piece together the puzzle faster than I did.

They Sought Vengeance is a tale of betrayal, secrets, and the lengths people will go to protect their own interests. It explores the complex dynamics of family relationships. I hope that readers will find themselves engrossed in this gripping narrative, eagerly turning the pages to discover the truth that has been buried in the past.
