I feel like I’m visiting Calgary, Canada and the parks where the murders are taking place in all three books so far. There are vivid descriptions of the park and the wetlands. Margie and her family are woven throughout along with their ancestry which adds a nice touch.

I love the tiny gem of a park where this murder takes place. The action in this book begins on Canada Day (July 1) 2021. I ran through the park that morning, just as Margie Patenaude does in the story. I saw everything that she did… except for a body in the water. Then “Parks Pat’s” day takes a totally different direction than mine did!
