Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, read the rules at A Daily Rhythm. Anyone can play along!
I am currently reading Unlucky 13 by James Patterson, a Women’s Murder Club mystery. James Patterson is one of the most prolific writers of our time. He received the 2015 Literarian Award: he is a “passionate campaigner to make books and reading a national priority. A generous supporter of universities, teachers colleges, independent bookstores, school libraries, and college students, Patterson has donated millions of dollars in grants and scholarships with the purpose of encouraging Americans of all ages to read more books.” And his books are an incredibly fun read!
David Katz, the young man who had driven the Jeep, had been doing postgrad work in psychology. Besides being shattered, his parents were completely dumbfounded by their son’s unexplained and tragic death. They hadn’t even the slimmest guess as to why David and Lara had been killed.
James Patterson, Unlucky 13
San Francisco Detective Lindsay Boxer is loving her life as a new mother. With an attentive husband, a job she loves, plus best friends who can talk about anything from sex to murder, things couldn’t be better.
Then the FBI sends Lindsay a photo of a killer from her past, and her happy world is shattered. The picture captures a beautiful woman at a stoplight. But all Lindsay sees is the psychopath behind those seductive eyes: Mackie Morales, the most deranged and dangerous mind the Women’s Murder Club has ever encountered.

Somehow I don’t think I’ve ever read a James Patterson book! But sounds right up my alley!
Today I’m teasing A Cure for Madness by Jodi McIsaac
Sounds like another great story by this prolific author. I haven’t read any of the books in this series, but I’m adding this one to my TBR list.
My Tuesday post features GIRL IN HYACINTH BLUE.
This sounds like a pretty tense thriller. I haven’t read any of the Women’s Murder Club books but since I LOVE mysteries, I’ll maybe look up the first in the series and give it a whirl. Here’s my intro and teaser: http://wp.me/p4DMf0-19D
I haven’t read any of this series. I can’t connect with Patterson’s writing style. My teaser this week comes from The Fine Art of Murder by Emily Barnes. Happy reading!
This sounds interesting. I hope you’ll enjoy it!
Here is my teaser for the week.
That cover and title reach right out and grab me. Didn’t even know about this book and I’ve read plenty by this author!
