I love Mary Higgins Clark’s novels, and recently finished a collection of her short stories in Death Wears a Beauty Mask. They run the gamut from suspenseful to silly, and were written at various points in Mary Higgins Clark’s career. It’s been ages since I read a Mary Higgins Clark book. I used to read her books like there was no tomorrow. She’s such a nice person too. I’ve had the chance too meet her and her daughter Carol a couple times at book festivals.
Cool, I’d love to meet her. The Cradle Will Fall was one of the first grown-up books that I read, and just blew me away.
