Right now, I am reading Dangerous Minds by Janet Evanovich. It is the second book in the Knight and Moon series, and I have actually read the first one as well. I love the characters in this book. Evanovich writes lots of fun, quirky characters, and does not disappoint in this series. We’ve got an eccentric billionaire and the practical woman who tires without success to keep him stable and down to earth. There is a monk who has lost his island, and the billionaire’s cousin, a hanger-on who is eccentric in his own right. Put it together with an international threat, a secret society, and of course the missing (stolen) island, and you’ve got an Evanovich classic.
“If there is an intruder I’ll use my powers to cloud his mind so he won’t see me,” Emerson said.

Buddhist monk Wayan Bagus lost his island of solitude and wants to get it back. The island was about two hundred miles northeast of Samoa. It had a mountain, beaches, a rain forest, and a volcano. And now it’s gone. Poof! Vanished without a trace.
Brilliant and boyishly charming Emerson Knight likes nothing better than solving an unsolvable, improbable mystery. And finding a missing island is better than Christmas morning in the Knight household.
